FOSTWOM project (Fostering Women to STEM MOOCs) will showcase at Open Education Week 2020 thanks to two webinars during the next Open Education Week (2-6 March).
During the webinars Paola Corti (Politecnico di Milano, Italy) and Ana Moura Santos (Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon, Portugal) are going to present the Eu funded project, FOSTWOM, which aims at developing a gender-balance toolkit for MOOC design and development, in order to support females to take part in STEM careers. The Toolkit it is going to be developed in the first year of the project will focus on designers and teaching staff involved in the development of STEM MOOC contents.
The aim of the webinars is to discuss with participants their perception of the needs around gender bias in STEM careers, and the points of attention they might suggest to take into account.
Participation is free but registration is required.
